IG began in London in 1974 as the first provider of spread betting on gold. Today IG Group is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is one of the world's largest online trading firms.

Broad regulation and listed-company disclosure underpin its high trust profile.
IG offers 17,000+ markets across FX, indices, shares, commodities, bonds and options, through its proprietary web platform, MT4, ProRealTime, L2 Dealer and a TradingView integration. Retail leverage is capped (1:30) under EU/UK rules, with higher limits for professional clients.
