AvaTrade was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. It is a well-known market-maker broker focused on simple accounts and a broad platform choice.
AVA Trade EU Ltd is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (C53877), and group entities hold licences in Australia (ASIC 406684), South Africa (FSCA 45984), Abu Dhabi (FSRA 190018), Japan, Israel, Cyprus and the British Virgin Islands. International clients are typically onboarded via the BVI entity with leverage up to 1:400.
AvaTrade offers a commission-free standard account; EUR/USD spreads start around 0.9 pips. Besides MT4 and MT5 there is a web platform, the AvaTradeGO app and AvaOptions for FX options. Copy trading is available via DupliTrade, ZuluTrade and AvaSocial.
The minimum deposit is $100, and an inactivity fee applies after three months. Funding is via cards, bank transfer and e-wallets. AvaTrade does not accept residents of Iran.
