Full review
Exness was founded in 2008 and the group is headquartered in Limassol, Cyprus. It publishes monthly client trading volumes and ranks among the largest retail FX/CFD brokers by volume.
The group operates through several entities: Exness (Cy) Ltd under CySEC licence 178/12, Exness (UK) Ltd authorised by the FCA, and further entities regulated in South Africa (FSCA), Kenya (CMA), Seychelles (FSA), Mauritius (FSC) and Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS). Client protections depend on the onboarding entity; most international clients are served by offshore entities with lighter protections than EU or UK rules provide.
Standard and Standard Cent accounts are commission-free with a low minimum deposit, while the professional Raw Spread and Zero accounts offer spreads from 0.0 pips plus commission. Trading is available on MT4, MT5, the Exness web terminal and the Exness Trade app. Offshore entities advertise unlimited leverage under specific conditions, which carries very high risk.
Funding is available by card, bank transfer, e-wallets and crypto, and automated withdrawal processing is one of the broker's best-known strengths. Exness does not accept residents of Iran, and availability varies by country.
