Octa, known until recently as OctaFX, was founded in 2011 and focuses on Asia, Africa and Latin America. It is known for simple, commission-free accounts.
Octa Markets Cyprus Ltd is licensed by CySEC (372/18), Orinoco Capital (Pty) Ltd by South Africa's FSCA (FSP 51913) and OCTA Markets LTD by MISA in the Comoros. International clients are generally onboarded via the Comoros entity, which is offshore regulation.
Octa offers three platform-based accounts: OctaTrader (proprietary), MT4 and MT5. All are commission-free with costs in the spread, which is floating and starts around 0.6 pips on majors. Accounts are swap-free by default and a copy-trading service is available.
The minimum deposit is $25 and Octa charges no deposit or withdrawal fees; methods include cards, e-wallets, crypto and local payment options. No active Persian-language site was found.
